The place provides reasonable prices. Clean hotel, free breakfast, the location is the best really close to Grand Lisboa, Senado Square, casinos & historic parts of old Portugese Macau, and the department store that is easy to find stuff. The breakfast is served in the restaurant! The room is new-fashioned and unique, the staff are ATTENTIVE people especially at the reception desk.

We were really surprised by the spacious rooms at Metropole, they were much bigger than they appeared in the photos. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the historic center and close to multiple dining options. Despite a few minor inconveniences, we had an enjoyable stay overall. When we arrived, we were not informed clearly about the shuttle service from the Old harbour ferry terminal, so I recommend calling ahead to inquire about this to save on taxi fares. the breakfast had limited options and could benefit from more continental choices.

The staff at this hotel are lovely, providing excellent service and attention to detail. The rooms have a super cool decor, with a cute dark red Chinese decoration that adds to the overall charm. The double bed is comfortable and the working AC ensures a pleasant stay. Plus, breakfast is included, although it's just bread.
The breakfast could offer more variety.

Location is central and there is free shuttle mini bus to-and-fro the ferry terminal which makes it easy accessible. Walking distance to several places of interest.
However, the room is a bit small, dimly litted and furniture is a bit old. Bed was extremely hard for some, so might take some getting used to. Generally ok but wouldn't mind paying a few bucks more for better hotels in Macau.

Its location near casinos and eateries was marvellous and the best. The room was retro and huge in chinese style, just what we needed. The breakfast was satisfactory, the check in was efficient.

What I liked about this hotel was that they offered free Wi-Fi and complimentary bottled water. the location was also great, being close to a popular casino and the historic city center. the best thing was definitely the rooftop pool, as it provided a nice escape from all the noise on the streets.
the noise from the streets outside was unbearable and lasted until the early hours of the morning.

Hotel is located at the city center very close to the square.
Shuttle from the ferry terminal never arrived. But used the next door hotel's shuttle. Staff are not very happy. Price is great though.

Location is excellent - walking distance to many heritage sites, casinos, shops and eating places. Staff at front desk are very helpful and accomodating. They gave us accurate directions to bus stop.
As the hotel do not have bellboy to carry luggages, the hotel should put a ramp connecting sidewalk to main door for easy access to guests with luggages.
